SKETCHING:

Since this was a group assignment, we each sketched our own design concepts for this project. Here are two sketches for design ideas I had, that the group decided not to pursue. (One of which is above the 3×3 inch dimension constraint.)

ONSHAPE:

The phone stand was created in Onshape. The red component is the phone stand itself, and the gray component is there to represent the dimensions of an Apple phone which this phone stand might hypothetically be used to hold. 

3-D PRINTING:

Finally, the part was 3-D printed and returned to the group during class. The final product can be seen at the top of this page.
